  • SVGA video interface
  • XXX MB RAM

Getting the Software

HDS Netos is proprietary software which is not freely available.

In fact, it doesnt seem that you can even purchase it anymore if you wanted to pay for it, so hopefully you or a friend has the media somewhere..

Booting the Terminal

..

Network Configuration

Firstly,

DHCP. Technically these terminals use BOOTP which some DHCP Servers (ie: ISC DHCPD) support for backwards compatibility

Administrator Accesss

You'll need the hardburned admin password which is 17PBAPREGF! (r13 encoded)

Bryces Notes

  • put the dir (tftpboot) in ftp
  • put it in tftp
  • config the xterm to point to that dir, and put in the correct auth info for ftp/nfs/whatever
  • For the blue ones: netOS3.0/config/default.cfg
  • edit that file with your settings.
